An evening college (sometimes called “night college”) is a college that offers courses during evening/night hours instead of the usual daytime schedule. These are meant primarily for students who:

Work during the day

Have daytime obligations (family, personal, etc.)

Need more flexibility in timing

Or who may not have had the opportunity earlier to attend day classes
